Tour of New London

Started off the day right by preparing the negatives I developed yesterday. Looking closely under the light, I was able to make out what each small rectangle had captured. To remind myself which photos I felt were worth printing later in this process, I marked small hearts next to them.

After I had completed this task, I was ambitious to go out and take more photos. My first stop was Winslow State Park, a park on Mt. Kearsarge with a beautiful view of the mountains and lakes further out. Though I liked this spot as the landscape was absolutely breathtaking, the bugs had begun to wear me down and I felt I could find better. I hurdled down the mountain to Elkins Beach in New London. Took some glorious beach pictures of a place I know so well, as I live just a mile from the beach.

My fantastic day continued with a photoshoot throughout my hometown with my close friend Nina. We ventured to different nature areas by my house, and even went into a couple thrift stores where she tried on some interesting dresses. Finally, I ended by developing the film I had shot during the day. So far, I’m growing fond of taking candids with my friends and landscapes. Tomorrow I take the big trip to Queechee Gorge in Vermont where I hope to pursue more nature scenes and landscape views.
